Just a question: In that one, how did she come back?
The hype that she came back as Mobian Hedgehog is ... that's a good question. I forgot.
In mine, Shadow got Eggman the Chaos Emeralds in return for him fixing the machine Shadow was created in.
The machine took Black Doom's DNA and created Shadow, he was going to use Maria's DNA (and when it's revealed not to be strong enough, he combines it with his own) to re-create her. Then there was some sort of way that Maria's conciousness was somehow transferred into the ARK's computers when she died, so Shadow and Eggman transferred it into the new body.
