Antherio and Simmora

Read this please ...

<sub>I don't know why, but I'm not really interested in fancharacters ... (...please don't kill me ... it's not insulting ... have the understanding for this) Until I saw an example of the parents of a fancharacter of *SupaSilver

She has that amazing Sonic art style I always wish and her sketches, whether official or fanmade characters, are so great to see ^^ I cannot describe


So this is a colored version of Antherio and Simmora (from up to down). The parents of Ares the Hedgehog. I asked *SupaSilver for a permission to color a part of this following picture ~~> [link]
To be honest, it wasn't easy for me to give both the suitable color because the artist has drawn the colored version of both already ~~> [link]
And I have to watch with the colors for Ares and the parents After I compared some painted pictures of Ares I couldn't decide the fur color and the color of the eyes (sorry, I didn't know whether his eyes are green or greyish-blue )</sub>

Antherio
Well I noticed that Ares inherits a lot from his father. So the basic fur color of Antherio is pale blue with some grey tones. The marks on his muzzle and forehead are dark green and the tips on his quills are black faded with a hue of dark green. (Ares' quills are faded black, too but the green tones are missing) At last the eyes, I give them a bright emerald green color.
As Antherio is an Aztec hedgehog I got the inspiration from the beauty of the green colors of the emeralds where be found in Middle and South America like Mexico, Guatemala, Chile and Brazil. _{(And in African countries of course ;D)}

Simmora
The basic fur color of Ares' mother Simmora instead is completely different.
As she's an Egyptian I got the inspiration by the beautiful colors of the Egypt scenery: Sand and yellow tones and some orange with reddish colors, especially when the sun goes down.
So I gave her a basic yellow-orange fur. Her thin silk clothes have beige tones, a golden necklace and jeweleries on her hair decorated with little ruby stones.

<sub>It was pretty challenging to give both another color though but I'm really satisfied with the result

So that's my imagination how I'd color Ares' parents *SupaSilver Hope you like it ^^
